About the Association
The Higher Denham Community Association (HDCA) was founded in 1942 and is a registered charity with the Charity Commission.
The HDCA owns freehold the existing buildings and the nearby playing field and copse. The Association maintains the Hall and Field for the enjoyment of everyone who would like to be considered as part of the Higher Denham community, and campaigns, in co-operation with others, for the maintenance of the local environment by warding off large-scale and inconsiderate development, and for the expansion and enhancement of local services and facilities.
In October 2015, the HDCA became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The new Higher Denham Community Charitable Incorporated Organisation (HDCC) is a registered charity, number 1163577..
Committee Meetings:
The Association has a volunteer committee who meet in the Hall on the third Thursday of every month at 7.30pm except August and December; the first part of each meeting is a public session when any resident may attend and raise a matter of concern to them.
If you would like to attend you will be most welcome, but please, notify the Chairman in advance of the matter to be raised so that Committee can prepare for a worthwhile discussion, otherwise an immediate response may not be possible.
The March meeting is not held: the AGM is held instead.
